Hi all,
I have had my Savage for about a month and I LOVE it! The only complaints I have are the occasional backfire and the loud squeaking emanating from the front brakes right before I completely stop. I was told it is caused by vibration, and bought this glue that attaches the pads to the calipers. I have never worked on a bike (or much on a car, for that matter), and I am a little nervous about taking the brake assembly apart. Am I being silly? Is it a piece of cake, or should I just have someone do it? Thanks!
